How It Works

We Keep Pool Compliance Simple 

 

1. Book An Inspection

 

Book online entering your details and your preferred day to receive confirmation your booking has been received. Our office will confirm your appointment and lock everything in. Alternatively, just call us to chat about arranging your appointment.

 

 

2. Get Inspected 

 

 

Armed with a tape measure, our friendly Pool Safety Inspectors completes an onsite inspection within 45 minutes. They’ll check your swimming pool, spa and barriers are compliant to Australian Government Standards.

 

3. Receive Certificate

Once the inspection is complete, we’ll email your results within 1 business day - if not sooner. If your pool is compliant, you’ll get a gold star in pool safety. If you’re not compliant, you’ll receive your certificate or notice with an in-depth report including photos. Once you’ve rectified your issues, you can book in a reinspection with the same inspector.

Do You Need A Pool Certificate of Compliance?

If any of these situations apply to you, you need professional advice from an E1 Certified Pool Safety Inspector to check your swimming pool, spa and barriers are compliant to Australian NSW Government Standards.

 

Real Estate Note

You can still sell your house with a Certificate of Non-Compliance, as long as

  • You provide a copy of your certificate of non-compliance to the buyer
  • The buyer acquires a certificate of compliance within 90 days after settlement

are selling or leasing a property with a swimming pool or spa

building a new swimming pool or spa on a property

have a new fence being built around an existing swimming pool or spa

have bought a property with a pool or spa 90 days from settlement

run a family day care, home care or at-home child care facility

been requested by your bank applying for or refinancing your home loan

are directed by council

Fill in all the details on your online booking form, including your preferred date for inspection

A fee of $ 99+GST is charged to cover administration costs issuing your certificate for every spa inspection.

Your inspector checks your swimming pool, spa and barriers are compliant with Australian NSW Government Standards.

If your pool, spa and barriers are compliant when we visit, your Certificate of Compliance is issued. Your Certificate of Compliance is valid for three (3) years.

If your pool, spa and barriers are not compliant at the first inspection, after six (6) weeks, Council requires, by law, we notify them.

A fee of $ 89+GST is charged to cover administration costs issuing your certificate for every pool inspection.

Your address and inspection are confirmed by email and SMS, noting day and time across a 2 hour window.

A detailed report is written up including photos with descriptions and explanations on rectifications.

If your pool, spa and barriers are not compliant when we visit, your Certificate of Non-Compliance is issued. Your Certificate of Non-Compliance is valid for twelve (12) months.

Once rectifications are complete, a re-inspection is arranged. A certificate is issued for every inspection. The fee for re-inspection is $199+GST.
